1.1. PDF book pricing

• US$40 - Individual license
  • copies of one title for one person; downloaded from Crane's web site
• US$600 - Site-wide staff license (cost-effective over 15 users)
  • copies of one title for an unlimited number of staff in one geographic location; downloaded from your own intranet
• US$2,400 - World-wide staff license (cost-effective over 60 users)
  • copies of one title for an unlimited number of staff world-wide; downloaded from your own intranet

Remember: The purchase of a book entitles the purchaser to download all future electronic editions of the same title that are released. Unlike a hardcopy book (at an even higher price), this one purchase ensures you will be up to date with all future releases of the electronic book.

Books are available only in Adobe Acrobat PDF files from a password-protected area of the Crane web site. Your username and password credentials will be included with your emailed credit card payment notification (see below).

1.2. Interactive video pricing

Each video product is individually priced:

• Online delivery - World-wide staff license (cost-effective over 40 users)
  • the materials are packaged for online delivery with a personalized index page; these can be posted to your own intranet for online worldwide delivery
  • not for access to the public, customers, consultants or any non-staff members, nor is the intranet to be used for distributing standalone versions of the material, only for live delivery of the content

1.3. Shipping and download

For a limited time express shipping of the physical media for our interactive video products is included in the purchase price.

PDF books and the handouts and exercises for the interactive video products are downloaded from Crane's web site using the username and password credentials found in the electronic payment receipt. Please obtain your online materials in a timely fashion as the credentials change on a weekly basis.

1.4. Purchase orders

Some of the products listed below may be ordered using a purchase order and some of the products must be ordered using a purchase order. Some purchase orders must be directed to Kagi, some pruchase orders must be directed to Crane, and others must be directed to Crane through Crane's business partner Document Engineering Services.

1.4.1 Purchase orders for PDF products

Purchase orders for PDF books are typically directed to Crane Softwrights Ltd. for North American customers and to Crane through Document Engineering Services for customers outside of North America.

1.4.2 Purchase orders for video products

Purchase orders for a single-user copy of the physical DVD products are directed to Kagi according to Kagi policies. For a geographic site or world staff license for online delivery of the DVD material, customers must first purchase (by any Kagi method) the single-user copy of the video through Kagi in order to trigger the physical fulfillment of the media. Upon receipt of the physical media the customer then purchases the online delivery license directly from Crane or indirectly through Document Engineering Services. The invoiced cost of the license will be the quoted price less the cost of a single-user copy.

For taxation reasons and fulfillment reasons we cannot directly process payments for physical DVD material. One must use Kagi to obtain the physical goods. Online licensing is handled by Crane directly or indirectly through Document Engineering Services.

2. No refunds

Please be sure of your purchase before you buy as there are no refunds available for any purchase. Click here for free download previews of the books and for the test interactive video used to confirm operation of our video product line on your computing platform.

3. Postal Receipt

Requesting a paper receipt by postal mail is accomplished by checking the box at the bottom of this page. There is a small additional charge for this.

4. Payment acknowledgement

When the payment has cleared your credit card company (typically in only 4 hours or less, but please allow up to 48 hours for this due to communication between the payment service and your bank), notice will be immediately emailed to the address you enter in your order. There is no address validation; if you enter the wrong address, you will not receive your notice. Failure to receive any indication after 48 hours probably means an incorrect address was entered - please inform us at info@CraneSoftwrights.com of the details of your purchase and we will try to correlate your details with our record of bounced receipts.

Your payment acknowledgement includes the username and password access credentials for obtaining the online components of your purchase. If you purchase more than one product in a single transaction, please look through the entire ackowledgement for each letter acknowledging an individual product.

Please obtain your online materials promptly as the credentials are changed on a weekly basis. For interactive video products, your copy of the online materials can only accompany the DVD media disks you receive. You cannot use the downlaoded materials beyond the use of the license of the media disks, as the online materials are considered a dynamic supplement to the physical media.

5. Disclaimer

By purchasing and/or using any product from Crane Softwrights Ltd.
