Mac the Scope and Waavebox
Mac the Scope signal analyzer and Waavebox signal generator: The evaluation (demo) software can be configured to emulate any combination of options listed below. To emulate the SE version, disable all options in the evaluation software's configuration screen; for Complete, enable all options. Other, "in-between" configurations can be demoed by enabling the options in the evaluation software's configuration screen corresponding to the numbered options below.
All options are fully described in the documentation installed with the evaluation software (click on the User-Customized Software Configurations and Licenses link in the QuikGuide document installed with the evaluation software).
All Mac the Scope software packages below include an activation code that enables both the OS 9 / Classic (4.0) and OS X Native (Mac the Scope 4X) versions. Placing an order for Mac the Scope 4X below will provide an activation code that will also work with 4.0 (Classic). This is for convenience of prior customers who continue to use OS 9.

Mac the Scope and Waavebox Upgrades
Upgrade pricing depends on the version you originally licensed (or upgraded to) and when the base license (not additional options) was purchased. Note: Version 4.0 (OS 9 / Classic Compatible) updates previously were free to Version 3.0 licensees (users with an activation code containing "-M30" as outlined below). However, this policy does not extend to the Mac the Scope 4X version upgrade.
If you originally licensed Mac the Scope 4.0 or Waavebox Standalone (or paid for an upgrade to 4.0 from an earlier version) after September 30, 2002, the upgrade to Mac the Scope 4X (or Waavebox) is free of charge. Free activation codes have automatically been sent to all eligible customers. If you are eligible for a free upgrade and haven't received a new activation code, please contact us (this would happen if we don't have your current email address). You must include the activation code from Mac the Scope 4.0 (shown upon launch of Mac the Scope, or from the message we sent you with your order).

General Information
Except for orders for Pure Vinyl and AudioLeak, you will receive two confirming email messages - one from Kagi and a second from Channel D. The latter will include an activation code. You can expect the second confirming message to arrive between 0 to 3 business days after the Kagi message, typically within 1 business day if we received the order during our regular business hours.
Activation codes for Pure Vinyl and AudioLeak are sent automatically, and you normally will receive them within seconds of placing your order.
Important: We urge you to provide a telephone number with your order. This is so we can contact you via another method, in the unusual event that a problem arises during the processing of your order. Also, if you have a "free" or "anonymous" email address (hosted by Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.) it's better to use the email address provided by your ISP rather than the free email address, to avoid any potential email delivery problems. We will not provide your telephone number or email address to outside parties, or use them for unwanted solicitations (the only thing they will be used for is processing the order).
Company Credit Cards
If using a credit card issued to a name (such as a company) different than the end user, or the person placing the order is not the end user of the software, the name of the end user (needed for generating the activation code) must be indicated in the "register to" field. Otherwise, your order will be delayed while we contact you for the name of the end user. Activation codes cannot be issued for companies or departments, etc., unless a site license is purchased.
